CDOT "Shift Into Safe"
The Problem: People break safety laws every day—like not wearing a seatbelt. It feels harmless, until it isn’t. At the same time, public safety campaigns are often fragmented—funded by separate budgets, run independently, and too small to make a real impact. The Insight: You can ignore a law. You can’t outrun the laws of physics. When things go wrong, consequences aren’t abstract—they’re immediate and irreversible. The Idea: Make the consequences undeniable. We combined 11 separate budgets and built a campaign around real-world credibility—featuring ER doctors who deal with these outcomes every day, alongside real victims who’ve lived through them.
